Magic Guanto is a historic Italain cycling brand, and credited with manufacturing the first Lycra® glove with supple leather palm. Riders and teams donning MagicGuanto® gloves is a Who’s Who of professional cycling, and every edition of the Giro d’Italia for the decade 1981 (Giovanni Battaglin) to 1991 (Franco Chioccioli) was won by riders clad in MagicGuanto®. Unfortunately, by the late 1990’s MagicGuanto® had virtually disappeared from professional cycling, but the brand is returning after a 30+ year hiatus with new club and team kit coming soon.
